Hey listeners, how you doing?
Adam here.
As you may realize, me and Joe are away for the next few weeks, so our regular live show is taking a break.
I'm just recording this very quickly before going off to work because we suddenly realized that there's nothing to go up instead of a podcast this week.
That was a mistake that we made when we were recording our Song Wars classic podcasts, the first of which will be available next week.
But we forgot to record something for this week.
So here I am just doing it on my own in my Nutty Room, which feels quite weird, I have to tell you.
Uh, I thought it might be fun, because Joe wouldn't be around to, you know, torpedo my stories, and I could make some self-aggrandizing claims without any kind of interference from him.
But it just, I feel insane doing it.
I have to be honest with you, I'm just staring at a box of fruit and fibre and I've sort of forgotten why I thought this would be a good idea.
Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Why did I think it would be good?
Yeah, because I just thought it would be, you know, you deserved a personal explanation for Why There's No Podcast.
Is this working as a personal explanation?
In the background, you can hear an instrumental version of the Song Wars theme tune.
Like, we did a whole album version of the Song Wars theme tune.
This is fun, isn't it?
This is interesting stuff.
Can I spin it out until the end of the instrument?
I mean, I'm only about halfway through.
Surely not.
This is ludicrous.
I mean, you're probably so enraged now, A, that there isn't a podcast, and B, that what there is, is this ludicrous, rambly piece of old dog plops.
that you might have smashed your MP3 player into a thousand pieces.
In which case you wouldn't be listening to this bit.
This is ridiculous.
I'm sorry, we'll be back next week with the first of seven classic Song Wars podcasts.
Hope you're very well.
Love you, bye!
