Hey, this is Joe.
Hey, this is Adam.
Welcome to another place-holding bit of talky nonsense.
I mean, we're basically all the good work that we've been doing this year, right?
All the loyal listeners that we've built up.
We've kind of undone the whole thing, haven't we?
Well, you know what?
I think a lot of them are on holiday as well.
Right.
Well, I hope that's true.
Where are you now, Adam Buxton?
At this very moment, I am with Will Smith.
Really?
Yes.
Not THE Will Smith.
Yes.
Really?
Willy style, yes.
I don't mean the English comedian.
Where are you?
Who's a wonderful guy and I love to hang out with him, but no, this time I'm hanging out with the American Will Smith.
He was in a film called Ali.
He played a boxer called Ronald Ali.
It's an Arabic film.
Is it?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And he's a genius.
He's also, he's battled aliens on occasion.
I don't know if you've seen any of these things that he's done.
He's also running for president.
He's going to be elected president of America quite soon.
And he's going to make the world a better place.
And how come you're hanging out with him?
He invited me to come out to stay with his wife, Janine Pinkett.
Because he thinks I'm
Jada Plunkett.
Jada Plunkett.
This is his words, right?
I'm quoting him because I don't like to big myself up too much generally.
He thinks I'm one of the funniest men in the world.
Really?
And I said, do you mean just England?
Because not that many people have heard of me outside England.
He said, no, no, I mean in the world.
He is a big fan of Meebox, isn't he, Will Smith?
He loves it.
He said he was the most innocent.
innovative show that he'd ever seen.
He said, thank God someone's parodied YouTube.
I mean, that was long overdue.
That's right.
And I explained to him, obviously, it's not strictly a parody of YouTube.
That was just a framing device for a brilliant new sketch show.
And he said, now I realize I've been a fool.
You're absolutely right.
Is there any way that you could come and stay with me for the summer?
Yeah.
So at that point I said, no, obviously you've got to treat me and keep them keen.
I said, I'm going to stay with Dermot O'Leary instead.
I can't make it.
But maybe I can come out after I say goodbye to Dermot and Big Willie came back and he said, that would be ideal.
Well, listen, you're going on too long this turning into a broadcast.
But I should just remind listeners that what Adam said wasn't true and in fact he's mocking me because I've been with Will Smith.
Thanks for listening.
We'll be back in reality next week live on the radio from 9am to noon on BBC Six Music Saturdays.
Don't forget that Alan Carr was filling in for us this week and you can listen to the whole of his show if you go onto the BBC Six Music website and do listen again.
Take care, love you, bye!
Bye!
